I love these burgers, they are very filling and taste great with Whole Wheat Oat Buns.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 cup lentils
  • 3 medium carrots grated
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 2 soup cubes
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 egg


Directions:

  1. Cook rice and lentils.
  2. heat oil in pan .
  3. Add soup cubes, grated carrots and onions.
  4. Cook until vegetables are tender and soup cubes have dissolved
  5. Add rice and lentils to pan.
  6. Put everything from pan into a large bowl.
  7. Add flour, oats and egg, mix together.
  8. Cover and refridgerate for at least 3 hours.
  9. Form mixture into six or seven veggie burger patties.
  10. You can grill, fry, bake or barbeque patties.
