Make Your Own Tater Tots

iEnjoy a Homemade potato snack – Tater Tots! Delicious dipped in ketchup, BBQ sauce, ranch sauce, honey mustard sauce or any other sauce you want to try! These famous Idahoan snacks are a lot easier to make than you think!
Ingredients:
- 5 large baking potatoes
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 3 tablespoons finely minced onions
- 1 tablespoon chives
- Desired amount of Salt and pepper
- Cooking oil for frying
Directions:
- Grate potatoes into a large bowl.
- Stir in flour, onion, chives, salt and pepper
- Fill heavy pan 1/4 inch of cooking oil. Heat oil in heavy pan.
- Form potato mixture into small balls and drop in oil. Fry until slightly golden.
- Drain on paper towels.
- In a 400 degree F oven, Bake on a greased baking sheet.
If you are planning on freezing the tater tots freeze after frying and before baking. Remove tots from freezer and bake without thawing.
