Parmesan Basil Bread

- 2 cups warm water
- 1 tbs salt
- 1 tbs or 1 pkg dry yeast
- 5 tbs butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 1/2 – 5 cups white flour
Directions:
- Mix ingredients together
- Kneed bread on a floured surface for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Place in two greased loaf pans.
- Let rise for 30 min or until doubles.
Ingredients for topping:
- 2 tbs butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbs grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
- Melt butter and add remaining ingredients
- spread on top of bread once it has risen.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 min.
